And they are saying our Athletics Dept posting the video of their coach boasting his bags are already packed and he's tired of hearing about our defense is classless!

When I saw that clip before kickoff, I thought he doomed his team.  If he had really packed his bags, do think he will  unpack them any time soon.

Some of the crybabies are pretty hilarious. There’s one on YouTube that that said everything had to go wrong in order for them to lose. Including the bad call on the OPI that took away a TD that was never called a TD if I recall. Looked like a classic textbook OPI push off. Also, he complained that our QB threw up “three desperation Hail Marys that all worked.” I’m thinking maybe if the coach wasn’t so busy packing his bags he might have been able to watch some film and see our QB was chucking up long bombs all season. Oh well, they'll get another chance next year.

The transfer portal is the way of college athletics these days. Wouldn't surprise me if our big names do the same for bigger NIL money or more exposure when looking to go to the NFL at the end of this season.

It's why recruiting can never end, even if we already have a star underclassmen at the position. 

Hopefully we don't have another complete rebuild at the end of this year, but I think that would be the exception and not the rule. Maybe the deep playoff run will convince them to stay and repeat/improve, but it's hard to pass up the money that keeps getting handed out.

Agreed...we are in the era of hold your breath when season ends. Too bad for Idaho...hopefully some of those kids come back. Having said that, I do NOT discount the possibility that simply put, these kids did NOT want to get their ass beat again by us.

I hate this new era of college sports. You will almost NEVER see a 4-5yr program kid anymore. It's basically college level free agency.
