Very happy for Poffenbarger.  I live in South Florida so will definitely get to Hard Rock stadium for a game or two.

Also, just a great story.  He walks on at ODU, transfers to us and is in a QB battle before being named the starter.  Then leads us to the best performance in school history before transferring to a P5.

People can knock the transfer portal and there are some issues with it but clearly someone missed on his evaluation and the transfer portal is giving him a chance to chase his dreams.  Not sure how successful he’ll be but I’m rooting for him.

My buddy played for Wisconsin and is super connected to the athletic dept.  His comment:  He’ll be good for you. I think he wanted transfer portal to avoid being a backup at Wisconsin   We had a lot of people in our Qb room this year

 Reese has a huge chip on his shoulder and is a competitor.  He'll work his butt off.  We'll see I guess.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel was nice enough to say that UAlbany "reached the national semifinals this season before falling to eventual champion South Dakota State. "

That sounds perfect... no need to get into any specifics about how they fell.  😂
