I understand Healy and Luka are injured and may be for a while. But what the heck is the matter with Hutch. Showed a lot  of promise last year {a little inconsistent @ times, but for a freshman, I really thought we had something may be even a star in the making??} Shafer reported as the "BEST" player in practice. Is it nerves, he like Hutch seems totally lost when on the floor. And JoJo played only 8 minutes yesterday. Counting Healy & Luka that is what many predicted could be UA's starting five this year???????  Also, for a team that has only played 4 games, WHY are we SO beat up. Brown must be killing (just kidding) these guys in practice.

Anyhow, looking for thoughts and opinions:  Will any of the 2019-2020 roster come around?? Or is what we saw yesterday all there is???

re-printed from vermont entry. Still looking for thoughts/opinions. Is this team what we saw in the second half Saturday and the first half Sunday? Is there any HELP on the way?

Been out of the loop a bit.  When did the SBU games get postponed?  I take it that it's covid related?

It's Covid. Everything is Covid. I think they announced it about a week ago. SBU missed last weekends games and this weekend against us.

I think it's more of a numbers game with Hutch. The way CJ Kelly is playing there aren't many minutes at the SF spot. To me, Shafer is a more natural at the backup SF spot since he's a little quicker. I honestly like Hutch off the bench at the PF spot since he can hit some shots and open up the floor.

I thought Chuck Champion played better this weekend and took minutes away from Jojo Anderson. Between those two and Horton, that's a lot of competition for PG minutes.

Lulka has been a big loss because it's the spot we can least afford to lose a guy. I'm really puzzled why we went really small against Vermont instead of playing Hank for at least a few minutes.

I will welcome Healy back when he's healthy. I know he's a great shooter but honestly Rizzzuto is looking like the better player.

Can’t find anyone to play with this 2 week gap? I can’t believe the two local D1s can’t even agree to play each other  just to get games in.

There may have been discussions.... however; the concessions to make that happen are a steep hill to climb in short period of time....

WB essentially said in one of the articles after the Vermont games that he would prefer to get the team healthy to forcing an additional game on the schedule. I'm guessing that across the board, most teams will be prioritizing making certain their conference games happen to adding non-conference games

Can’t see how not playing for 2 weeks is more of a benefit than getting actual games in. It’s a lost season anyway, I’m sure these seniors just want to play other teams instead of 2 weeks beating each other up at practice, in which most case is where all the injuries have come from.

With COVID -19 testing rates over 10% in the greater Capital District, less games will result in more games in the end.  ..... editing after seeing updates below: "Sometimes S____ happens and your  wrong"  Interesting to see who opponent is...
